Recently, AWS announced a major update: Partner Central is being moved out of its standalone portal and fully merged into the AWS Console, which already hosts Marketplace services. What this means is that Marketplace, partner workflows, and partner data will now live in the same unified interface, under AWS’s IAM-based permissions and streamlined access control.

As part of this change, by June 30, 2026, all partners must complete this migration, otherwise access to important capabilities like opportunities, co-sell engagements, reseller approvals, and solution metadata will be cut off.

Labra has already made this transition in our AWS Partner Central portal as part of our role as a launch partner.

We’re now extending this service to ISVs who need it at no cost.

What Changes

The consolidation brings technical upgrades such as new IAM policies, enhanced authentication (ACE), restructured channel operations, and a unified management view for solutions and marketplace listings.

Migrating involves:

  • Mapping old Partner Central roles to new IAM policies.
  • Linking existing Partner Central accounts to AWS Console accounts.
  • Onboarding users with correct permissions.

For organizations with large, distributed partner programs, mistakes can block critical workflows, e.g. submitting opportunities, handling marketplace operations, or approving resellers.

How Labra Helps

Because Labra was among the first to migrate, we’ve built a comprehensive consultancy program for other AWS partners under Labra’s consulting arm, Ibexlabs.

Ibexlabs is a proud AWS Premier Tier Services Partner, delivering deep expertise to ISVs and solution providers, with offerings spanning AWS Well-Architected Reviews, DevOps, cloud migrations, managed security, cost optimization, and GenAI solutions, helping customers build efficiently, securely, and at scale.

Labra experts will be working together with your AWS admin to:

  • Audit your current setup to identify affected users and integration points.
  • Translate old Partner Portal roles into appropriate IAM policies, ensuring correct access and avoiding over-privilege.
  • Provide on-call migration support, post-migration support, and care.

Next Steps For You

The migration window opens December 10, 2025.

Get an early start! Early adopters get time to test, adjust, and migrate on their own schedule. Delay adds risk, especially if you wait until just months before the deadline.
