After the grand reveal of Buy with AWS at re:Invent ‘24, Las Vegas, Labra is honored to announce that we were among the first ISVs to integrate this into our website, as launch partners.
We have been working closely with AWS on the implementation of “Buy with AWS” calls-to-action on our website and closely monitoring the results.
There’s an exciting little update from Labra’s end as well!
But first, let’s understand what exactly the Buy with AWS initiative entails.
What is Buy with AWS?
The Buy with AWS initiative is designed to facilitate the discovery and purchase of marketplace products directly through the seller’s website or platform.
Its goal is simple — enable buyers to access and purchase AWS marketplace products directly from the seller’s website.
With Buy with AWS, sellers can:
- Host and manage their own transactable storefront
- List AWS Marketplace software on your storefront
- Build and manage your customers’ enterprise catalog of cloud products
- Enable upcoming features of AWS Marketplace automatically for buyers
Now buyers can transact via your website, and use their AWS credentials to purchase your software.
“The ability to have this “Buy with AWS” feature benefits us because it simplifies the transaction process for our partners and customers. It gives them a seamless purchasing experience. Our customers and partners can access the AWS Marketplace right through our Trellix website, which is super convenient. With the “ Buy with AWS” feature, there’s no need to go over to the AWS Marketplace and search for the product they want to buy. It just makes everything a lot easier,” Martha Vazquez, Technology Partnerships Manager at Trellix.
How does this benefit sellers?
- Enhanced customer buying experience: The direct integration of AWS Marketplace on your website helps buyers procure your software using their marketplace credentials. No back-and-forth and tab switching in between!
- Boost customer conversions: 81% of buyers agree that seeing the official AWS branding on seller websites increases their trust in the reputability of the seller. With streamlined procurement added to the mix, buyers are more likely to convert into paying customers.
- Streamline transactions and invoicing: Billing, transactions, and invoicing will go through AWS Marketplace, releasing pressure off you and the buyer.
How can Labra help with the implementation of Buy with AWS?
While this new AWS Marketplace initiative is transformative in many ways, setting up the Buy with AWS widget on a website can require some engineering effort and time. We wanted to make this process even easier for our customers.
Labra is also excited to announce that we are integration partners for Buy with AWS. So far, we have helped ten of our customers implement the “Buy with AWS” call-to-action, with one of them seeing a 233% increase in the number of AWS Public Offers we’ve received within one month of implementation.
Below are the features Labra can help you implement for Buy with AWS.
